Who we are
(bhāṣa) is the word for "language" in many South and Southeast Asian languages, which derives from the Sanskrit word bhāṣā (भाषा) meaning "speech" or "spoken language".
We are the largest interpreting platform in Switzerland and expanding in Europe.
We help individuals & organizations to communicate across language barriers with anyone, anywhere, and at anytime by connecting them to the right interpreter, using our large interpreter network, and our state of the art technology.
Our mission: Equal access
For migrants and travelers around the world, language and cultural barriers can prevent adequate access to basic services as offered by health, education, social or justice institutions. Poor communication is not only to the detriment of the allophone individual, but also of the organizations which can no longer guarantee the full rights of the individual and see a loss of efficiency.
Community interpreting aims to eliminate language and cultural barriers; however access to an interpreter can be difficult and in many situations an interpreter cannot be requested quickly and reliably enough.
Our mission is to enable each individual to communicate at all times, across linguistic, cultural and geographical barriers, by connecting them with the right interpreter.
